Kevin Aguilar is in his fourth year as an assistant coach at WHS. Kevin has been playing baseball since the age of five, and continues to play today. He attended Woodcreek High School from the Fall of 2002 to the Spring of 2005. He played two seasons at Junior Varsity, and two seasons at the Varsity level. In 2004, he, along with his older brother Johnny, helped the Woodcreek baseball team to it's first ever Division II championship. Kevin's knowledge as a catcher and love of baseball brings an added dimension that is both welcomed and needed and will help to play a roll in the success of this years' team.
Fresno State: Attended Fresno State two years, playing one.
Yuba College: Was an all-league first-team selection both seasons ... batted .420 with nine home runs his freshman year ... hit 13 home runs and batted .385 his sophomore year ... selected to play in the Reebok Classic All-Star game.
Woodcreek High School: Lettered in baseball, football and basketball ... was an all-league selection his sophomore, junior and senior years ... was a an all-state selection his senior season.
Personal: Tory Ferrell Davis as born Aug. 14, 1981, in Washington, D.C. ... son of Michelle ... has three younger brothers, Travis, Alex and Austin ... person he admires the most is his grandfather & grandmother, Gordon Harris & Ann Cooke, for being great role models.
Coach Smith is in his fourth season as a member of the WHS coaching staff. This is his third stint as Freshman Assistant Coach. Coach Smith comes to WHS after serving four seasons as the assistant Varsity coach for El Camino HS and he is in his 15th season coaching High School baseball. Coach Smith is married to wife Yinella and has three children, 9 year old Gabriel, 6 year old Alexx, and 3 year old Giulia.
