Rob is returning for his 11th season as a coach for Woodcreek Baseball. This is Coach Forster's second tour as the Head JV Coach. Previously, he served as the Head Frosh Coach in 2010, an Assistant Varsity Coach in 2009, and Head JV Coach from 2005-2008. He also served as the pitching coach for Will C. Wood High School Varsity Baseball from 2002-2003.
A graduate of Roseville High School in 1991, Rob played Varsity baseball for former Woodcreek Head Coach Kelly Mayo. Upon graduation, Rob played baseball at Sierra College before moving on to receive his degree from UC Davis in 1997. In addition to coaching, Rob is a Biology and Earth Science teacher at Woodcreek.
John Aguilar is back coaching for the 3nd time at WHS. In 2002, he was an assistant under Dave Nutter at the J.V. level. He has coached at various levels for his four boys for over 15 yrs. He has managed numerous Little League teams and All-Stars, Jr. Legion, and assisted at the Jr. College level under current SJSU head coach Sam Piraro. His sons Johnny and Kevin were members of the 2004 championship team coached by Lance Fischer, Kelly Mayo, Fred Fischer and Jeff Nereson. His wife Lisa has been a former secretary of the Dugout Club and a manager of two senior teams in WLL's inaugural season. Coach Aguilar is also currently giving individual instructions on the fundamentals to Ben, his 2 yr. old grandson.
