Woodcreek faced off against Woodland on Tuesday where both the weather and bats ran cold.
Brandon Cain, starting pitcher, hurled a complete game 4 hitter on just over 60 pitches however Woodland put up a similar defensive effort allowing just 3 hits on just over 60 pitches as well. In a game that took less than an hour and a half to play, defense and pitch conservation ruled the day. Woodcreek bats found the ball, striking out just once in the contest, but the ball found defensive gloves routinely with Perry Beaber, Mark Smith, and Kyle Dixon providing the offense with a single a piece. Meanwhile Woodland would not let a run across and proved good enough to take the win.
The T-Wolves will re-group and wait out the rain before seeking revenge so check the changes on the message board.
