The pitching staff had outstanding performances in all four games allowing only 6 runs in 28 innings of work.

Dylan Spezia got the start in game 1 (vs. Del Oro HS) and again in the Championship game (vs. Bella Vista HS).  He took command early on and never relinquished it. Dylan went the distance in both games, giving up only three runs in game 1 and pitching a shut out in the Championship game.

Josh Smith took the mound in game 2 (vs. Yuba City HS) and pitched a beauty, going 5 innings with only 2 runs allowed.  Josh Cooper came in for the final two innings and quickly shut down the side, earning Woodcreek the win.

Brett Bucey got the call in game 3 (vs. Del Campo HS) and pitched a gem, going 6 1/3 innings, allowing only 1 run.  Josh Cooper came in with another solid performance (1 2/3 innings) and needed only 14 pitches to shut down the opponent and close out the game.

Michael Daw received the majority of the work behind the plate and did a great job for all the pitchers.

The freshman displayed solid defense throughout the tournament.  Good bunting, sacrifice flies and consistent team hitting helped lead them to 4 straight victories.

The offensive charge was lead by Austin McCarty and Scott Saylor with 6 hits apiece and big hits coming from several other players;

Austin McCarty (3B, 2B)

Scott Saylor (3B, 2x2B)

Dylan Spezia (HR, 3B, 2B)

Brennan Spezia (2x2B)

Dylan Bell (2x2B)

Matt Yardley (2B)

Kyle Dust (4x1B)
