Scott Romuk recorded the win for Granite Bay. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. The Granite Bay pitcher struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.
Granite Bay jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Granite Bay got things going when Vinny Esposito singled. An error then moved Esposito from first to third. Then a groundout by Nick Lebeau scored Esposito. Granite Bay then tacked on more runs when Knapp scored on a groundout by Ryan Rosa.
Woodcreek tallied one run in each of the third, fifth and ninth. In the third, Woodcreek scored on a groundout by Austin Hagarty, scoring Brandon Raposa.
The game's last lead went to Granite Bay thanks to a ninth inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on a sacrifice fly by Aaron Knapp and two singles.
