Woodcreek JV makes the most of five hits in 8-4 victory over Del Oro

Woodcreek JV and Del Oro both threatened with rallies, but it was Woodcreek JV that eventually took advantage of them in an 8-4 win at Woodcreek.

Del Oro had eight hits compared with Woodcreek JV's five, but Del Oro stranded seven runners on base.


CC racked up three RBIs on two hits for Woodcreek JV. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.


#11 got the win for Woodcreek JV. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

The top of the first saw Del Oro take an early lead, 3-0.

Woodcreek JV quickly matched Del Oro's strong inning with a four-run inning of its own in the second. Woodcreek JV scored on a hit by pitch, a two-run double by CC, and an error.

Woodcreek JV went up for good in the third, scoring one run on a groundout by BC.

Woodcreek JV added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth. ZE kicked things off with a single, scoring CW.
