Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman bested by Roseville comeback, 7-5

Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman held a comfortable four-run lead in the sixth inning, but a big comeback by Roseville ended Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman's hopes in a 7-5 loss Monday at Woodcreek High School.

 

NK racked up two RBIs on one hit for Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman. He tripled in the second inning.

 

 

JF handled Roseville's lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. JF allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over five innings.

ZW ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.

The game's last lead went to Roseville thanks to a seventh inning rally that saw five runs cross the plate on a two-run error and an RBI single.
