Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman fall behind in eighth inning in 6-4 loss to Nevada Union

Nevada Union took the lead in the eighth inning, and Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman was unable to muster a comeback, losing 6-4 in eight innings on Wednesday at Woodcreek High School.

 

Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman was led by JF's hitting. JF went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

The top of the first saw Nevada Union take an early lead, 1-0.

It didn't take long for Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman to answer as it scored one run of its own in the first. Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman scored on a groundout by MM.

Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman got one-run rallies in the fifth inning and the seventh. In the fifth, Woodcreek Timberwolves Freshman scored on an RBI single by ZH, scoring JF.

Nevada Union scored two runs in the seventh inning, and then followed it up with two more in the eighth. In the seventh, Nevada Union scored on a two-run triple.
