Roseville falls 9-3 at the hands of WHS Varsity Timberwolves

WHS Varsity Timberwolves beat Roseville on Monday 9-3 at Woodcreek HS in seven innings.

WHS Varsity Timberwolves scored four runs in the sixth on WHS Varsity Timberwolves scored in the sixth on a two-run double by Darrell Doll, a sacrifice fly by Justin Smith, and an error.


Tyler Malone got on base three times in the game for WHS Varsity Timberwolves. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the second inning.



Doll got the win for WHS Varsity Timberwolves thanks to seven strikeouts. Doll allowed no earned runs, three hits and two walks over 4 2/3 innings.


Erickson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just two innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.

WHS Varsity Timberwolves jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first.

WHS Varsity Timberwolves didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the second inning when it scored on two doubles.

WHS Varsity Timberwolves added two more runs in the bottom of the third. A hit into a fielder's choice scored Doll for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Matthew Ornelas's double, scoring Austin Loeb.
